The Benefits Of Eating Raw And Living Foods

Products

Eating raw and living foods is the key to any healthy lifestyle and is really the way that our bodies are meant to eat. Eating foods in their uncooked and natural form will allow you to absorb the full amount of vitamins and minerals that nature intended. In fact cooking foods actually takes nutrients out of the food and the raw version of that food will almost always have exponentially more nutritional value and the cooked version

Not only does cooking take away nutrients it also alters the chemistry of the foods which makes them harder for our body to digest. Microwaving, is particularly bad for any type of food even if you’re just heating it up. In fact, some think that cooking may be the reason why we have so many digestive problems in this country. We’re putting foods into our body in a form that nature did not intend us to absorb.

Raw and living foods can help boost our metabolism as well as give our bodies and nutrition that it craves. Raw foods contain food enzymes that help our body in the digestion process so it takes less energy for us to digest foods that are not cooked. Instead of spending its energy on sorting out the toxins that are produced by cooking the food they can use that energy to feed ourselves and keep our bodies working efficiently and disease free.

When you are eating a diet of processed and overcooked foods, you are not feeding your body all the vitamins, minerals and other nutrients that it needs. No wonder why you feel hungry even though you eat quite a bit. Once you start adding some living and raw foods into your diet you might find that you are less hungry and you even start to lose some weight.

Now if you have been eating cooked and processed foods your whole life, it might seem like just too much of a change to start eating raw foods, but you can reap the benefits simply by making little changes to what you eat a little bit at a time. You don’t have to all of a sudden start eating all raw foods - just add in some juice at breakfast and maybe a salad at lunch. I’m sure that you’ll see huge difference in the way you feel.

Little by little you can start adding more raw and living foods to your diet and start eating less cooked and processed foods and before you know it you’ll have more vitality and energy than you ever thought possible!
