someone described as a fruitarian, a juicearian or a sproutarian then
you may have thought that you were hearing about someone from another
planet, but in fact these are people right here on this planet who eat
healthy raw foods in a certain way.
A Fruitarian eats mostly fruit. They typically mix
in some grains and nuts with their fruitarian diet and they may include
tomatoes and avocados which are, in fact fruits. Fruits are very
healthy for you and include a lot of vital nutrients that your body
needs. Fruits cleanse and flush out the system and don’t have
any fats that can clog your arteries. Fruits can be eaten fresh, as
juice or as dehydrated
fruit.
One problem with a fruitarian diet is that it’s hard to get a
lot of protein since a fruitarian does not eat meat or dairy. Needless
to say, this diet can be rather limiting and sometimes fruitarians will
eat a little bit of other types of raw or natural foods but they do
stick to mostly fruit 99% of the time.
A Juicearian is someone who subsists mainly by
drinking juice. Typically this is juice that they make fresh from
fruits and vegetables, usually organic and not juices you would buy in
the store. Juicing
is a great way to detoxifyfy your body and many people
who eat a raw food diet go on juice fasts which can help cleanse you
and they make you feel wonderful and give you tons of energy to!
Nearly anything can be juiced, but most Juicearians use fruits and
vegetables along with wheat grass. Fruits and vegetables are a great
source of antioxidant vitamins and essential minerals and when taken in
the form of juice, are very easy for your body to digest, therefore
you’re getting a huge impact from these vitamins and
minerals. Wheat grass juice is very dense with nutrients as it is made
from raw live wheat grass that has a huge amount of life force energy
in it. The great thing about the wheatgrass is that it is alive and
growing right until you cut it and put it in the juice, so you are
drinking it within a few minutes of it being
“picked“. When you think about it, the fruits and
vegetables you get at the market have been picked days ago and every
day that they are not live they lose vitality. This is why wheat grass
juice in juice bars has become so popular and is said to be so healthy
for you.
A Sproutarian is one who eats mainly sprouts.
Sprouts are said to be extremely nutritious because they contain
everything the plant needs to grow, that is, protein, carbohydrate and
oil. When the seed germinates these turn into natural sugars and
predigested amino acids which the plant then uses as food. When we eat
the sprouts, we are eating the life force of the plant which has the
energy capable of generating cells. It is for this reason that it is
thought that sprouts can help to slow down the aging process.
Sprouts also contain female as well as male hormones and contain the
highest amounts of vitamins of any food. Almost any seed can be
sprouted. Broccoli sprouts is said to be extremely healthy and they
don’t taste so bad either. You could try sprouting seeds at
home and some popular ones to try include alfalfa, peas, fenugreek,
fennel and celery seed.
You don’t have to become a fruitarian, juicearian or
sproutarian to enjoy the benefits of these healthy eating styles.
Simply incorporate some of these foods into your daily eating regime
and you will see your health and vitality greatly improved.
